My take on Marie Forleo is she's the "Positive Pam" you dread seeing at the office on a Monday. You know...this one:

Marie is a life coach, positivity practically runs through her veins. In an interview with Lewis Howes she addressed her uber-happy attitude saying, "I really think so much of success is about your attitude that you bring to the table". Her follow-up was what took her to Positive Pam status: "You've gotta bring it every day, no matter what stage you're at," she said. My knee-jerk reaction to this was, 'No'. Life isn't fun all the time and certain tasks at certain jobs are the worst. When I was a server I never jumped for joy when it was time to do side-work at the end of my shift. Marie's experience squashed the rebuttal in my head almost instantaneously.
So many opportunities for me have come from training myself to show up like a champ wherever I was.
When Marie was in college she worked as a barista. It wasn't her dream job but she took pride in creating the best cappuccino she could. One of her customers noticed her work ethic and asked what she wanted to do when she graduated? After getting her degree that connection helped Marie land a job on the floor of Wall Street. Our efforts won't always get noticed but sometimes they will and one big opportunity can be a lot more beneficial than hundreds of pats on the back. If you have a case of the Mondays that's okay, just don't let it deter you from doing work that matters. Opportunity doesn't care what day of the week it is.
